Wearable Tech
learning intention: I intend to learn about wearable tech and the different types of wearable tech.
If you don't know what wearable tech is. Here is an explanation I came up with. wearable technology is the helpful yet enjoyable devices used for pleasurable games and activities, helpfulness in health, tracking diseases or fitness and even used to gather information or give out directions.
There are different types of wearable techs, used for different types of things, examples told on the sentence above. These things can be used for fun or educational purposes

Body Image Task
In my opinion, I think positive body image has to do with accepting
differences all around the world. We learnt the definition of body image
is how you think and feel about your body.
Differences like skin colour, disabilities, the size of someone, extra body
parts and many more things. Before I learnt anything in health I always
had a closed mind about people with disabilities and different people.
What I mean by this is how some people different from some others had
confidence and empowerment, When I was one of the people making fun
of them and trying to blend in with society and letting everyone’s words and
opinions about this get to me. I now know that these people had to go
through struggles I could never even imagine, I always thought that I was
lucky for being born normal but now I know that differences and disabilities
are normal and many people in this world have them. There are also many
different traditions and celebrations in all the cultures of this world, we all
need to acknowledge and accept these traditions as a part of their cultures,
even though some don’t seem normal to us.
I also think that we need to acknowledge and appreciate the beauty of
different shades of skin and colours living in this world. I always knew
that racism was bad but I never looked at it from the perspective of other
races, which explains way more about the matter. Things like racism.
Racism is when people think that a certain group of humans are divided
into a lower form of life, putting many generations to believe that they have
superiority over another race. I really think that needs to stop because no
matter what skin colour you are we’re all the same and we all should be treated
the same.
The other thing I am stopping is body shaming people. Most people in this world
are either called skinny or called fat. This is what makes people different from
other people and makes them a very unique being in this world, standing out from
the others. This really needs to stop, because when people do those kinds of
judgemental things, it causes the victims to harm themselves or harm others. This
really affects the health of local communities and even the world. I’ve really learnt that
all people should be treated the same, and treated the way you want others to treat
yourselves.

Volcanic Model
Volcanic Model
Model 1
A Volcano is a piece of the Earth that allows hot lava, volcanic ash and gases to escape from a magma chamber below the Earth. The Earths Volcanoes take place because the Earths crust is split into 17 undecidable tectonic plates that float on a hotter, softer layer in it's mantle. Scientists have put the categories of the volcanoes into three main stages, active, dormant and extinct. An active volcano is when a volcano has just erupted and will soon erupt again. A dormant volcano is when a volcano hasn't erupted in a long time, but still has the possibility of erupting again, so it's technically sleeping. A extinct volcano is when the volcano erupted thousands of years ago and there's no possibility of it erupting again. Most new Zealand volcanoes are dormant.

Food coloring
after that you have to put just a drop of food coloring which is the red stuff on the picture
Baking soda
after that you have to keep putting in some baking soda until it rises up to the top
Objects you use
- Test tube
- Beaker
- Eyedropper
- plastic spoon
- A volcano is a rupture in the crust of a planetary-mass object, such as Earth, that allows hot lava, volcanic ash, and gases to escape from a magma chamber below the surface. Earth's volcanoes occur because its crust is broken into 17 major, rigid tectonic plates that float on a hotter, softer layer in its mantle.
